Panasonic eBook Reader that launched it : Raboo UT-PB1 also supporting the creation of a world without bookstores that have been initiated in the United States. eBook Reader is similar to the Nook Color and more suitable so-called tablet because it comes with a variety of applications. Interestingly, when the world began to develop e-ink color, the Panasonic just unveiled a tablet called eBook Reader or eBook Reader that have tablet support.
At least, eBook Reader will be welcomed by readers in the Japanese market. eBook Reader users in a country with a population that has a high level of passion in the world of reading that it may still tend to use the tablets. Because if not in accordance with market trends, Panasonic certainly will not launch Raboo UT-PB1 eBook Reader.
Panasonic Corp. said will launch an eBook Reader handset on Augustus 10 with a price tag of 34,800 yen ($444)
The eBook Reader Panasonic Raboo UT-PB1, which can only be purchased via Panasonic's web store, will offer an electronic book distribution service provided by online shopping operator Rakuten Inc.
Rakuten announced will begin its e-book service on Augustus 10, offering more than 10,000 titles at first for Panasonic's eBook Reader.
The eBook Reader market is apparently still quite alive and well, with the folks out at Panasonic bringing out another new piece of hardware in the form of the Panasonic Raboo UT-PB1. And not only is this interesting for what it actually brings to the table, it’s also interesting for what it seems to have left out.
The Panasonic Raboo UT-PB1 offers up a seven inch touch screen display showing at 1024 x 600 resolution, backed up by a dual core processor and eight gigs of storage (reportedly, though, you’ll only be able to use just over half of that -4.5 gigs- for storage.
The 400 gram (14 ounce) handheld also comes furnished with 8GB of storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, as well as a 1.3 megapixel camera, support for various video and audio files, and packs basic web and email apps. Bluetooth and wi-fi connectivity and a Panasonic-specific user interface.
Panasonic Raboo UT-PB1 eBook Reader only plays nice with the XMDF e-book format, so if you're interested in picking one up, you're gonna be tied to the Rakuten E-Book store. The price is also quite expensive when sold in the U.S. and compete with Color Nook already have popularity.
While in Asia, the eBook Reader that uses e-Ink Color is still no one has surpassed Hanvon Color, although sales are still made in China. Due to the large domestic demand, Hanvon Color eBook Reader has not had time to expand into international markets.
